Standalone inspection

A closer view of roofs, chimneys and high-level elements.

A drone roof survey can provide a much clearer view of areas that are difficult to assess safely from ground level. Our chartered surveyor reviews the imagery in the context of the building, identifies visible concerns and explains sensible next steps in plain English.

What the service covers

Focused inspection, useful answers.

01

High-level coverage

Roof coverings, ridges, valleys, flashings, chimneys, parapets, gutters and other visible high-level elements are reviewed where flight conditions allow.

02

A photographic record

The report includes clear images so you can see the location and nature of visible defects rather than relying on a brief verbal summary.

03

Independent advice

We do not carry out roofing repairs, so the findings are not written to sell remedial work. Where specialist access or quotations are needed, the report explains why.

04

Important limitations

Flights remain subject to weather, privacy, access, safety, airspace and environmental restrictions. A drone cannot see beneath coverings or confirm concealed construction.

05

Useful for owners

A standalone survey can help investigate leaks, storm damage, deteriorating chimneys or maintenance concerns without commissioning a full home survey.

06

Included with home surveys

A drone inspection is included with our Level 2 and Level 3 surveys at no extra cost where conditions permit. Any limitation is recorded in the report.

Before you book

The right inspection for the question you need answered.

A standalone inspection focuses on a defined concern and is not a substitute for a full Level 2 or Level 3 survey when you are buying a property. Tell us what you have noticed and we will explain which service is appropriate.
